IDDQD is Cyber Essentials certified
IDDQD holds Cyber Essentials, the UK government-backed scheme for baseline cyber security, alongside its ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification.
IDDQD is certified under Cyber Essentials, the UK government-backed scheme that sets a baseline for protecting an organisation against common cyber attacks.
Cyber Essentials covers five technical controls: firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection and security update management. An organisation must show it has each in place to be certified, and must renew every year.
The certificate covers the group: the systems behind Ideal Postcodes, AddressZen, Postcodes.io and Uprns.io.
Cyber Essentials complements IDDQD's ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. ISO/IEC 27001 tests how a company manages security risk as a whole; Cyber Essentials checks the technical controls that stop most routine attacks. Many UK public sector contracts require Cyber Essentials, so buyers there can tick the box without a separate assessment. IDDQD supplies its certificates and further compliance documents on request.
